Ministries
At St George's we place a high value on celebrating the strengths of our parishioners and our community. We are proud to be in Transcona and love supporting the good things that are already happening in our neighbourhood. It doesn't have to have the St George's brand on it to be worth doing!
We also support national and international projects through our involvement in the Diocese of Rupert's Land and the Alongside Hope Ministry.

We also have a number of community groups that use our building, including Alcoholics Anonymous (click here to find a meeting), and a knitting club. If your group is interested in using our hall you can click here for more information or you can contact us for more information.
Additionally, we support and have parishioners who volunteer with the following:
Concordia Place Personal Care: we visit and offer a worship servicei every 3 months
River East Care Home: we visit and provde worship services every 3 months
Park Manor: WE visit monthly to offer worhsip services and we host our annual Spring Tea and Christmas Sing Along..
Plessis Family Resource Centre: Members of the church regularly volunteer at the resource centre and keep us posted on urgent needs. Because we know bread is always needed, we also regularly collect it at our Sunday morning services.
