St. Thomas Weston-Restore the Lantern Roof -Campaign Update

We are excited to share that we have successfully achieved our initial goal of raising $50,000 for our roof. We would like to thank every individual, group, community, parish and organizations that have contributed to the campaign and want to specifically acknowledge the Jasmine Foundation and the Parish, and parishioners, of St. Margaret’s Anglican Church, Winnipeg for their support. 

As we prepare to have the roof repaired, we know there is some damage in the building, as a result of the failing roof. This will also need to be managed once the roof is complete. For this reason we plan to keep the campaign open until the end of August as initially planned with the intent to use any additional raised funds to make repairs in the inside of the building. We are also in conversation with our local representatives and seeking some matching funds/grants to have every donation go that much further.

We have been in contact with some wonderful organizations who are giving some advice and possibly assistance with this matter.
