Greetings St Georges,

Brrrrr! It feels like fall today. I know we have looked at the thermostat a few times wrestling with the idea of maybe turning on the furnace. Its too soon!

We have a few things happening around our church and would like to bring s few items to you attention. Please read the enclosed letter from the +Bishop. This includes some important information.

Prayer Circle: if you rare interested in joining this prayer group- please let Penny know. This is an opportunity to add to your prayers We receive prayer requests from members and friends and families and have a list that we prayer for daily. This prayer circle is in addition to the lists in the pews and those listed in our Prayers of the People during service.

Our upcoming Licensed Lay Readers Workshop is designed for the 6 people who have put there name forward.

Plessis Resource Centre is still operating and providing meals for the school age children in their location. Although our ladies’ group has paused their weekly volunteering for now, we will still be collecting groceries for the centre. Please see the note in this newsletter and on our website showing the items they are requesting. Items can be brought to church on Sunday, and we will ensure they are delivered.

Memorial Board: We will be adding name plaques to the main Memorial Board at the church. If you wish to add a name of a family member or friend, the cost is $10 and Dorian is arranging the plaques and inscriptions. Please see him for more details.
