Attention all local Transcona churches:
For a number of years now, several local churches have gotten together to worship on the
Sunday of the Hi Neighbour Festival. This year this Ecumenical Worship Service will take place
on Sunday, June 7 at 10:00 a.m. at the Archambault Pavilion on Regent Ave.
The Hi Neighbour planning committee has set aside this venue, has provided many chairs and
all the musical equipment for us. This is so that we, as Christians, can provide an ecumenical
worship setting for all Transcona residents who might wish to attend.
A few of Transcona’s churches have decided to hold their regular morning service at this venue
this year while others have decided to hold their regular service in their own building but
encourage their congregational members to attend as individuals if they so choose.
We’d love to see people from each and every faith come together for this once a year event. No
need to let us know you’re coming, just show up. Maybe bring your own chair if you’d like but
bring your voice and a smile to the group as we worship God together.
