ST. GEORGE'S MISSION STATEMENT St. George's Anglican Transcona

We, of St. George's, are a family of Christ.
We desire to live our faith through joyful worship by providing Christian nurture for all ages and by enabling each person to participate actively in our life together.

We seek to encourage that way of life in others
through ministries of witness, education, outreach
and service in the wider community.

Our Staff

Rector
Reverend Helen Manfield has been with the parish since 2006. She began as a theology student, and was ordained in 2007 bringing with her many years of ministry experience. Much of her experience has been working with youth. Helen is a community builder and strives to find new ways to bring the love of God to the community.

Our Secretary
Maureen Duncan has been with us since April of 1987 ... over the years adapting to many new ministers and also to a new location. She works 4 afternoons per week, from September through June. She has, along with her extended family, also been a long time member of St. George's congregation.
