Our Current Staff

Sunday, October 4th, 2009, St. George's had a "Blessing of the Animals" service.



	Reverend Helen Manfield is an Honourary Deacon Assistant at St George's, Transcona. She was ordained in October 2007 and brings with her many years of ministry experience. For a large part of her ministry career she has works with youth, so it was not a great surprise to us when she was recently appointed as the Youth Ministry Developer for the Diocese of Rupert's Land. Helen is married with two teenage children who constantly keep her on her toes. As a family, they moved from England in 1999, and after being able to survive a winter, decided to stay.



	Our Secretary: *Maureen Duncan* has been with us since April of 1987 ... over the years adapting to many new ministers and also to a new location. She works 4 afternoons per week, from September through June. She has, along with her extended family, also been a long time member of St. George's congregation.
